1. Welcome

These Terms of Service govern your use of My Souvenirs ("the app," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use My Souvenirs.

2. Who can use My Souvenirs

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Your content

Your journal entries, photos, and everything else you add belong to you. We don't claim ownership over anything you write or upload.

Some features use AI to draft text, summarize patterns, or chat with you about how you're feeling. AI-drafted content is always shown to you for review before it's saved — nothing is saved automatically without you seeing and approving it first. Because of that, you're solely responsible for the content you choose to keep in your journal, including any AI-drafted text you edit and save — particularly anything mentioning real people. We recommend reviewing AI-generated drafts carefully before saving them, as accuracy isn't guaranteed.

4. Not medical or therapeutic advice

My Souvenirs is a journaling and reflection tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic care, and it does not diagnose, treat, or provide advice for any medical or mental health condition. If you're in crisis or need immediate help, please contact a licensed professional or emergency services in your area.

5. Your account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has accessed it without your permission.

6. Subscriptions & payments

My Souvenirs offers a free tier and an optional paid Premium subscription, billed monthly or yearly. Current pricing is always shown in the app before you subscribe. Subscription payments are processed by our payments provider, Paddle (acting as our authorized reseller of record); Paddle handles your payment details directly — we never see or store your card number.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from Settings in the app — there's no need to email us or contact support to do it. When you cancel, you keep Premium access through the end of the period you already paid for, and you won't be charged again after that.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@my-souvenirs.com and we'll take a look.

7. Legal compliance

We comply with valid legal process — such as a subpoena, warrant, or court order — when legally required to do so. See our Privacy Policy for more detail on how this works.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app evolves. If we make a material change, we'll let you know before it takes effect.
